StudioHour Socials & Meet Ups are designed to be safe, intimate & curated hangouts that shine light on different design processes, conversations about the the design community, and enable people to get to know one another to further enhance their focuses as creators.

Meet Up & Make Series (Toronto & Vancouver)

At our Meet Up & Make Series you can learn how different design disciplines problem solve and create, all while having light dinner and drinks. We are bringing together creatives from across industries to share and experience different design processes and practices hosted in a casual dinner party setting. Size of group varies on setting.

Past Events

Meet Up & Make Vol 2 session with DesignTO was a night of laughter, creativity and community. The night started with getting to know one another and ended on a magical ride of design sprints led by Georgia. It was fun, inspiring and the best way to spend an evening!

There was food, drinks and time to get to know one another. All was under the light of creativity, problem solving and learning something new.

For International Womens Day we spent a wonderful evening facilitating a private Candle Mold Making Workshop for Women’s W(h)ine and Design Community hosted by Kristin Liu within the beautiful workspace John Fluevog Shoes.

Nikki, using her background in Industrial design, led us through her process of Mold Making! Where we spent time getting messy, making objects, and learning how to create silicone molds by imagining their perfectly unique candle shape.
